Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

Smyle Digital is operated by Smyle Digital Web Design LLC. In this Privacy Policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Smyle Digital Web Design LLC. “You” means a person who visits or uses smyledigital.com (the “Site”).

This Policy explains what personally identifiable information, along with other personal information, we collect through the Site, how we use it, the circumstances in which we disclose it, the choices available to you, and how to contact us about our privacy practices. It applies to the Site and other online services that link directly to this Policy. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.

Personal Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

Contact and inquiry information. If you use a contact, quote, appointment, or inquiry form, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, business name, email address, telephone number, what you are looking for and the content of your message. If you contact us by email, telephone, text message, or another communication channel, we receive the information you provide and the address, number, or account you use to contact us.

Information Collected Automatically

When the Site loads or you interact with it, we, along with the service providers used on the Site, automatically receive technical and usage information. This may include your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP address, referring page or website, pages viewed, time of access, links or buttons used, cookie or similar identifiers, and information about how you interact with the Site.

Some of this information is recorded in routine server, security, or diagnostic logs used to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the Site. Other information is collected through cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, or similar technologies. Technical information can be personal information even when it does not include your name.

Sources of Personal Information

We collect personal information from the following sources:

  • you, when you submit a form, contact us, subscribe, create an account, make a payment, apply for employment, or otherwise provide information;
  • your browser or device, through ordinary web requests, server logs, cookies, pixels, and similar technologies;
  • service providers and contractors that help us operate, secure, analyze, advertise, communicate, process payments, or otherwise support our business.

How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • responding to inquiries, requests, appointments, quotes, and customer-service communications;
  • providing requested products or services and administering customer relationships;
  • operating, maintaining, improving, securing, and troubleshooting the Site or our services;
  • understanding Site traffic, performance, and how visitors use the Site;
  • detecting fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems;
  • measuring advertising and conducting remarketing as described below;
  • complying with legal obligations, as well as protecting our rights, users, property, and security;
  • other disclosed purposes that are compatible with the context in which the information was collected or otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies or similar technologies such as pixels, tags, scripts, and local storage. These technologies may support Site functionality, remember preferences, protect security, measure traffic and performance, enable embedded content, measure advertising, or support remarketing.

Your browser may let you block or delete cookies. Blocking some technologies may affect Site features.

Third-Party Services Used on the Site

We use third-party providers to perform functions for us or provide features on the Site. Depending on the service, a provider may receive technical information automatically when its technology loads, information you submit through its feature, or information we provide so it can perform services for us.

Website Hosting and Infrastructure

Our website hosting, content-delivery, security, or infrastructure providers process technical information needed to deliver the Site securely, including IP addresses, request information, and server or security logs. Provider(s): Cloudflare.

Contact-Form Processing

When you submit a form, Formspree processes the information you enter so the submission can be delivered to us or stored for our use. Privacy information: https://formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy/.

We use Google Analytics to understand Site traffic and usage. Google Analytics collects or receives information such as cookie or similar identifiers, IP-derived information, browser or device information, referring pages, pages viewed, and interactions with the Site. We use the resulting reports to understand and improve the Site. Google describes how it processes information from sites using its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Google Signals or related Google advertising features are enabled. Google associates analytics information with information from users who are signed in to Google and have permitted related processing in their Google settings. We receive aggregated or audience-level reports, while Google processes personal information or pseudonymous identifiers as part of the feature.

The Site uses Meta advertising technology, such as the Meta Pixel, to measure advertising and support remarketing on Meta services such as Facebook or Instagram. Meta receives page views, conversion or interaction events, cookie or similar identifiers, IP/device information, and related information. Meta handles information under its privacy practices: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.

The Site embeds Google Maps. When a map loads or you interact with it, your browser connects directly to Google, which receives technical information such as your IP address, browser/device information, and information about the request or interaction. Google handles that information under its privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

How We Disclose Personal Information

  • Service providers. We disclose information to providers that host, secure, maintain, process forms for, analyze, advertise, communicate for, process payments for, or otherwise support the Site and our business, to the extent needed for their services.
  • Analytics and advertising providers. Analytics or advertising providers receive technical, device, identifier, usage, and event information as described in this Policy.
  • Legal and safety purposes. We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; protect rights, safety, and security; investigate fraud or abuse; or enforce agreements.
  • Business transactions. If the business is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
  • At your direction or with your consent. We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or otherwise consent to the disclosure.

Advertising and Remarketing

The advertising or remarketing providers described above receive identifiers, device information, information about pages or actions on the Site, and advertising or conversion events. They use that information to measure advertising performance. They also use it to help show you ads based on your prior visits to the Site.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to inquiries, provide services, maintain business or tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and maintain security. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, why we collected it, how long it remains useful for the stated purpose, and applicable legal requirements.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. The safeguards used depend on the nature of the information and the risks involved. No website, network, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

California Do Not Track Disclosures

Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is no single, universally adopted standard for how websites must interpret DNT. The Site does not change its behavior in response to a DNT signal unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar opt-out preference signals. The Site does not currently respond to GPC signals.

Third-Party Tracking Over Time and Across Services

The third-party analytics, advertising, social-media, behavioral-analytics, or embedded-content services described above may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services. That collection is subject to each provider's own technologies, account settings, and privacy practices.
